recruitment process Our Port Augusta Office currently runs inductions for clients which consists of around 8-10 people per induction enabling us to induct around 40-50 people on a weekly basis. Also we are able to build in any site specific testing/online induction through the recruitment process prior to arrival on site if required.
functional capacity testing A key unique point of difference in the Randstad recruitment process is that all candidates before commencing work at Pacific National will be put through a functional capacity assessment as part of their induction process with Randstad. Our functional capacity assessments are conducted by our consultants that have been trained by our fully-qualified physiotherapists and have been introduced as an integral component of our strategy to reduce safety risk for both our organisation and our customers, these tests are offered free of charge as a value added service.
site inductions & walk through Randstad can assist Pacific National by being on-site to check in and meet all new starters on arrival for first shift on request.
monitoring and consultation & tool box talks Monitoring and consultation evaluations are conducted for all Randstad employees who are on-site with a host employer. Randstad is responsible for meeting with every single employee at the conclusion of their first shift (week). Thereafter we continue to appraise and consult the employee and host client on a monthly or quarterly cycle, depending on site risk evaluation. Critical factors reviewed include work performance, duties, changes to environment/role and understanding OH&S site procedures.
reporting Randstad has the capacity to set up weekly, monthly or quarterly reporting on spend by cost centre or site, ability to report back on fill rates, time & attendance, hours worked, LTI, productivity levels, resource pools and temp/perm ratio etc.
24 hour on-call service � Randstad operates a 24/7 service which enables us to communicate with our candidates outside of normal working business hours which are 7.00am � 6.00pm. The after hour service is staffed by a team of experienced consultants based in Australia who have access to the Randstad database and can respond to additional shift requests, replace absenteeism before start times and respond to emergencies. The benefit to Pacific National is 24/7 support, minimised down time and maximised output.
